Pupils get ‘into film’

This week our pupils have taken part in the annual Into Film Festival.

During the event young people from all over the UK are brought together to discover how film can be used to help them learn, increase literacy and develop creativity.

The Into Film Festival, which runs until November 23, uses the magic of movies to engage young minds in a broad range of topics.

In its sixth year, it welcomed nearly half a million primary and secondary pupils and their teachers in 2017.

Each form group in the school has attended a local cinema to watch a film for free courtesy of the festival.
