Returning to School

I hope you and your family are safe and well. As we are now in our second half of the summer term I just wanted to update you with our arrangements and plans. This week marks the 12th week of home learning for some of our pupils. Well done to all those who have been accessing their online portfolios and completing their work at home. Well done to our wonderful families who have been supporting their child through this.

Government guidance stated that from 15th June it is safe for some pupils in secondary schools to return. We have been pleased to welcome back some of our pupils over the last few weeks, along with our keyworker pupils who have been in school since March. We understand if you have chosen to keep your child safe at home until September and we will continue to support you through this time.  If you need support accessing our online learning platform please get in touch and we can guide you through the process.

I would like to thank our families for their support through this time and for your replies to the school questionnaire. Your input has been very important for our planning during this time.

For those who are planning to return over the coming days, I have attached our Return to School Manual. This gives you all of the information you need and will help you to prepare your child for their return to school.

Home learning for all pupils is still being encouraged and fully supported with work and activities being added regularly to our online learning platform, website, Padlet, being emailed out or hard copies being sent to those with no internet access.
