The Observatory School are pleased to announce that they have been shortlisted for the International Award at this years 2019 TES Awards.

The awards celebrate the extraordinary commitment, quality and innovation shown by teachers and support staff across the UK.  The gala ceremony will be held on Friday 26 June at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel, and today TES has announced the shortlist of entries for 16 coveted awards, chosen by a panel of education experts.

Miss Gower , the Deputy Headteacher said “We’re very proud to have been shortlisted for this award, being shortlisted for an award is a great achievement in itself! Our international work has grew and grew over the last five years and is very much embedded in our school curriculum.  Our pupils love learning about different countries and cultures and have embraced our current Erasmus+ project, which has enabled them to visit other countries and make friends with other young people from different cultures.  I couldn’t be more pleased that our teachers and pupils success has been recognised.”
