Welcome to this weeks Wall of Fame, we would like to start by wishing all of our community a very Happy Easter and we hope you enjoyed the bank holiday break.
It has been a busy 2 weeks at The Observatory School and our pupils have been working very hard in their lessons. With our year 11's exams fast approaching they have been busy revising and attending extra lessons to ensure they are ready. We are all very proud of the dedication and commitment most have shown towards their qualifications.
Well done to Lenny who won our CREACTION Easter Egg Design competition. The design stood out to the judges due to its use of the CREACTION logo. Lenny won a giant Easter Egg and was very pleased to have won. We are looking forward to our second CREACTION trip to France which is on 4th May.
There have been some interesting lessons in Science this week and it has been great to see so many pupils attending science club at lunch times. Mr Dickson has added to his animal collection too, he has brought in frog spawn to show the pupils the development stages of a tadpole. Everyone is very excited to watch them grow into frogs!
Last week we held our annual Easter Egg Hunt. Everybody had such fun finding the pingpong balls and trading them in for real Easter Eggs! Thank you to Mr Wood for organising the event.
Connah from King has been working with bees at Tam O Shanters Farm. He is very excited to be getting the opportunity to work with them more closely with the staff at the farm...he has not stopped buzzing about it!
