Weekly Update 04/12/2020

Thank you for all your ongoing understanding and support during the ongoing pandemic. As a district we enter Tier 2 restrictions this week, so need to continue to stick with all our Covid restrictions and procedures for a little while longer. Thank you for your patience and understanding. We’ve come this far, let’s all continue to try our best to keep each other safe so we can enjoy the rest of the term and enjoy the Christmas holiday when it comes.

If your child has a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back, a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual) a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal, you MUST NOT send them to school and MUST follow the guidance.

Thank you to those who have donated prizes towards this years Christmas Fair. The fair will be held virtually on Friday 18th December 2020. The pupils are looking forward to the event and will be having in-class activities to make the fair seem a little more festive.

Well done to all those who earned a place on the Wall of Fame this week. It has been lovely to see so many positive things happening around school. Pancake and Waffle (Curies' Guinea Pigs) had a hair cut this week. Thank you to Mrs Baird for organising this. Both report that they love their new hair-do's.

Miss Gower has been visiting lessons over the last 2 weeks. She has been pleased to see so many pupils working hard in their lessons and remaining positive throughout the changes in the school. A big well done to everyone!
