Pupils and staff celebrated the Coronation in style on Thursday. The celebrations started at 12.00pm with an wonderful afternoon tea prepared by Pat and Vick. Louis opened the tea with some wonderful piano playing, which was the perfect start. We then had a singer in who sang popular hits throughout the afternoon. It was wonderful to see everyone up dancing and singing along! We also had Alex, a local street artist in to paint a mural of the king with the pupils. Everyone enjoyed getting involved and contributing to the piece. To finish off the day we had a Royal Football Tournament. Well done to everyone who took part and helped out with the event.
