Welcome back to Autumn Term 2. I hope everyone has had a good break over the holiday.

I will begin by highlighting some items on our website gallery detailing activities that students have been involved in recently.

  • Mini Moxon Pony visits – Vinnie and Tommy visited lower school pupils throughout Autumn 1. Pupils learned all about animal care and how to be safe around ponies.
  •  Tam O’Shanters Farm volunteering. Pupils across key stage 3 have been helping out one day a week at the farm.
  • Climbing. Pupils in Banksy have been completing a climbing award at Awesome Walls in Liverpool.
  • Visits to colleges, year 11 have been on visits to colleges and had speakers in from colleges.
  • Our Place in Space, pupils have visited Liverpool to learn all about the planets.

We are all looking forward to many more visits this term.

Well done to our Star of the Week pupils this week. They were:

Millie, Ruby, Lilly, JP, Jayden O, Tyler W, Ethan H and Jack C.

The School Council met this week to discuss how they could make improvements around the school. There were some good suggestions given and now they are working on an action plan following their information gathering.
