Welcome to this weeks weekly update. It has been a busy week at The Observatory School with lots of exciting things happening around school.

Pupils in the lower school have been learning about Harvest and it has been wonderful to hear them talking about the festival in their lessons.

Miss Gower was very impressed with this weeks celebration assembly and the Wall of Fame. There were lots of lovely posts showing our pupils artistic ability. They are certainly a talented bunch, with impressive creative skills.

MacArthur had another wonderful trip to the stables. They learnt how to care for horses, with Alex even ‘mucking out’ a stable.

We have also had some great visits to the Sensory Shack recently. The pupils really enjoy their time there and are very positive about their experiences. This is also available for parents and carers to book out out of school time.

Pupils in Daley (KS2) went pumpkin picking this week. They had a fantastic time and even brought back to school their own pumpkins. We are looking forward to seeing them after they have been decorated.

Pupils have also been electing their class representatives this week for the School Council. They have voted for the pupil they wish to represent their class. Miss Gower will update you all about this more next week.
