Weekly Update – Happy New Year!

Welcome back to the Spring Term. This time of the school year always brings optimism and hope as many of us are desperately trying to stick to our new year’s resolutions and the days begin to get just a little longer and brighter.

At school, we begin to start the countdown to the GCSE and SATS examinations in the summer, which are now just 16 school weeks away!

This week has seen an excellent start to the new term as we have all settled back very quickly into our routines. Walking around the school this week I have had the pleasure of seeing many excellent lessons where the pupils are fully engaged in their learning. The Celebration Assembly was also very impressive, with so many posts in just 2 school days!

Recycled Uniform
Do you have any school uniform and or suitable school shoes in good condition that no longer fits? If so, we would be really grateful if you could send it into the school pastoral team. This will help some of our parents and pupils who are struggling in our current climate. Thank you for your continued support.

Breakfast Club
Just a reminder that we have free breakfast available to all pupils everyday. This includes warm bagels with a variety of toppings and a broad selection of cereals. Breakfast Club runs from 8.45am to 9.10am.
