Pupils Mark Safer Internet Day 2024

In a spirited celebration of digital safety and responsibility, The Observatorty School embraced Safer Internet Day 2024 with enthusiasm and creativity.

The day kicked off with a school assembly, where Mrs McGlynn underscored the importance of digital citizenship in today’s interconnected world. Throughout the day, pupils engaged in a variety of activities designed to foster critical thinking and positive online behaviour. In classrooms, teachers led discussions on topics such as cyberbullying prevention, privacy protection, influencers and media literacy. Pupils eagerly participated in role-playing exercises and scenario-based simulations, resulting in an amazing video to give others advice.
